At our meeting this Thursday (4/16), club members read some articles compiled by WiSTEM officers and engaged in discussions in breakout rooms on zoom (each room was led by one or more officers). Topics that were discussed include Panama's current isolation policy that is divided by gender, the general economic implications for females in context of the COVID-19 crisis, and current research working to reveal why men seem to be more vulnerable to the epidemic.
