This Friday, Oct 23, the WiSTEM club had the opportunity to lead a discussion regarding the 2020 Noble Prize Winners Emmanuel Charpentier and Jennifer Doudna. The members of the club read an interview with Jennifer Doudna, which discussed her achievements and journey as a woman in a competitive field. Members were placed into breakout rooms to discuss a series of discussion questions that involved challenges women face, like imposter syndrome and unintentional bias. Each room hosted lively and insightful conversation, a pleasing indicator of this event's success!
