Welcome to Harker WiSTEM!

Our mission is to foster the interest of female students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; to provide role models and mentors of professional women scientists, engineers, and mathematicians; to create a forum of discussion and support for further education in the sciences; and to educate the community at-large about gender issues in the sciences.

We achieve our goals by arranging guest lecturers to promote awareness, holding technical workshops for the  community led by female scientists, and creating a network of female mentors and Harker alumni in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We value individuality, intellectual curiosity, and respect, promoting leadership and service to fulfill our goals at the personal, group, and community level.
